Vietnam preserves remarkable primary forests threatened by deforestation due to the demographic migration and the extension of  plantations. The culture on brulis and the wood destruction, used as combustible worse this phenomenon . However a national project of April 2000 would allow the afforestation of 5 million hectares from here to 2010, making pass the forest cover rate of the territory from 30% to 43%.

Planete insolite chose to carry out an environmental action with the Province of Ha Giang, which counts 5 natural reserves : Phong Quang ( Vi Xuyen ), Du  
Gia (Yen Minh District ), Bac Me, Bac Dai Son (Quan Ba District ), and Tay Con Linh (Vi Xuyen Distrcit and Hoang Su Phi District) 

The province would like to create in each reserve an administrative office to manage all the inventory activities, and fauna and the flora conservation.

Among the 5 reserves of the province of ha Giang, we chose the reserve Tay Con Linh, within which exists many species of rare centenaries trees (tea plant, fir trees...)

Planete insolite and the province will work together in order to index the flora (in particular trees and medicinal rare plants) and to chart it within the reserve of Tay Con Linh.

The action will initially consist in writing a feasibility project indexing all the stages and the methods of this inventory for a duration from 5 to 6 years (with scientist support), and in the second phase to propose at international scientific organizations to help the province to achieve this project.
